Coleman Crafts
Craig Henninger is more than the park caretaker. Craig is also a gifted craftsman. Craig has created many wood turnings including the tea lites, illustrated above, ink pens and bottle stoppers.
Craig uses only material which is available in Coleman Park. A variety of woods include, but not limited to various oaks, maples, dogwood, walnut, pines, beech, mahogany, catalpa, hickory, ash and poplar. Craig is always searching out wood burls as he cuts storm damaged trees.
Interestingly, other materials are also used to create great visual beauty in his “artwork”. These materials include, among others, deer antlers and recycled park bench materials.
All of these products are for sale. The profits from sales benefit the park.
Call the park, 272-7271 for more information.

All sales benefit Coleman Park.
