Coleman Memorial Park (717) 272-7271
1408 W Maple St, Lebanon PA
The North Gate House stands next to the entrance of the Coleman Memorial Park. Most likely built around the same era as the "Homestead," much of the original woodwork and architectural features were removed during renovations. The original stone wall in front of the house remains. The garage housed Fanny Coleman's carriage. Used until the 1900's, the Gate House was built for the caretaker. While it was an estate, Oscar E. Meunch resided in the North Gate House. Eventually, the Trustees rented the property, and moved the caretaker to a home within the Park, near the ball fields. .
