Volunteers are a vital part of Coleman Memorial Park. Coleman Memorial Park is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers and can
offer opportunities for many rewarding experiences.
Many special events, activities and maintenance projects during the year are made
possible only because of the dedicated efforts of park volunteers. With the need for volunteers increasing every year, we invite you
to become an active volunteer and help support the park. This is a perfect way to get to know your neighbors and become involved in
a worthwhile cause in contributing towards a stronger community and more beautiful park.
Who Can Volunteer:
Anyone 18 years and
older may apply to become a volunteer. If you are under the age of 18 you may still participate by working with your family,
group, or responsible adult. No experience is required but if you have a special talent that you think would be valuable, please
let us know. We want to match your skills with your work preference to give you an enjoyable experience and best fulfill the needs
of the park.
Park Events - volunteers are needed for event preparation, the day of the event and post
event clean up.
Baseball Tournaments - field maintenance during the baseball season as well as during tournament play.
- removal of litter, clearing, improvements and the reporting of potential problems that would hinder public safety.
General Park Maintenance
- weeding, painting projects, trash pick up, and general maintenance.
